Hematologist -with focus on malignant hematology

Allina Health Cancer Institute in Minneapolis is seeking a board certified/board eligible Hematologist to join its growing hematology program with focus on malignant hematology.

• The program consists of 2 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers and is the tertiary referral center for acute leukemia in the Allina network.
• Privademic model - unique and exciting opportunity to specialize in hematology in a community-academic “hybrid” program.
• The multidisciplinary team includes nurse navigators, oncology social work, oncology pharmacy, genetic counseling, dietary and supportive therapies. Excellent support from hematopathology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, radiology, blood bank, intensive care, and other specialist services.
• A group of 18 hematology-oncology physicians in the metro share call, with expected 1:6 Hematology-only call.
• The ideal candidate will have interests/experience in the care of patients with acute leukemia, chronic leukemia, multiple myeloma, lymphoma, and myeloproliferative neoplasms.
