Hematology and Oncology Locums Physician - Minnesota, Long-Term
Outpatient HemOnc assignment in Minnesota with full blocks and support, just two hours from Minneapolis.
Highlights
- Long-term assignment; 6 to 12 months
- Full-time blocks: 3–4 weeks per month required
- No supervision or acute leukemia/BMT management
Practice Setting
- Community-based outpatient cancer center
- 16 infusion chairs, Epic EMR, care coordinator and RNs on staff
- Recently installed linear accelerator
- Patients from surrounding rural communities
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM
- Light weeknight call and occasional weekend call
- Minimum 3-week/month commitment
Cases and Procedures
- 80% Oncology, 20% Hematology
- ~16 patients/day: new consults and follow-ups
- No BMT or acute leukemia (transferred to St. Cloud)
Requirements
- Board-certified in Hematology and Oncology
- Active Minnesota license (or willing to obtain)
- DEA certification required
