Outpatient Benign Hematology Nurse Practitioner - Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Institute Washington DC. The Hematology Program at MedStar Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center in Washington D.C. is growing rapidly and is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its team. The NP in this role will be responsible for the independent initial evaluation of patients with low acuity benign hematologic conditions, subsequent independent management of patients with benign hematologic conditions, and , performing outpatient bone marrow biopsies. The ideal candidate will have a background and some experience in hematology/oncology. Experience preferred in bone marrow biopsies, but not required. Interested candidates will also have thorough documentation skills, great work ethic and be able to work autonomously while being connected regularly with administrative and physician support. This position offers you the opportunity to practice independently and side-by-side with a group of nationally and internationally recognized dedicated, board certified, hematologist. Work Monday-Friday in an academic, collegial environment. This is a 1.0 FTE opportunity, with no call, no weekends or weeknight responsibilities. Compensation Details

$115-143k

The hiring range is the range MedStar Health, in good faith, believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
