  • Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking an Internal Medicine and/or Pediatric-trained Hospitalist to join our team. As an award-winning facility, Saint Francis offers one of the most stable Hospitalist programs in Southeast Missouri, with several physicians serving in the program for more than 20 years.

    Schedule and Patient Volume

    · 7-on/7-off schedule, Wednesday through Tuesday, 168 shifts annually

    · Average of 20–25 admissions per 24-hour period, including approximately 8 daytime admits, 8–12 mid-shift admits, and 4–8 overnight admits

    Team and Facility

    · Collaborate with a team of 22 physicians, 8 nurse practitioners, and 1 medical assistant

    · Practice in a 306-bed hospital certified as a Trauma, STEMI, and Stroke Center

    · Open 20-bed ICU floor includes Medical and Surgical ICUs; neonatologists manage the NICU
