As a member of UMass Memorial Health, Marlborough hospital provides patients with a direct link to the advanced medical resources of UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, a nationally recognized academic medical center. Together, they use knowledge and innovation to create breakthrough medicine and make life better for those they serve. Marlborough Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and is certified as a Stroke Center by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. UMass Memorial Health – Marlborough Hospital was established in 1890. Physicians are eligible for academic affiliation and appointment with UMass.

• ICU: Open, Intensivists in house until 5pm
• TeleICU, along with Intensivists on call after 5pm with hospitalist support
• 8 Total Physicians (3 day/1 night); 7on/7off
• 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am HM Physician Shifts
• 2 Total APCs; 7on/7off; 12 Hour Coverage
• 2pm-2am for APC Admitter Shifts

Marlborough is ideally situated 25 miles west of Boston. Boasting a rich history, Marlborough is a very forward-thinking community. It has an excellent School System, including Advanced Math and Science Charter School which consistently ranks among the top schools in the commonwealth. It is a hub for technology and biotech companies, with major employers including Boston Scientific, Hologic, and Quest Diagnostics. Outdoor recreation is abundant here. They have a range of outdoor activities, including hiking and biking trails, parks, and sports fields. The Assabet River Rail Trail, a 12.5-mile trail that runs through Marlborough, Hudson, and Stow, is a popular destination for cyclists and runners.
