Full-time Medical Director/Hospitalist Details and Offerings: • Critical Access Facility environment • 7am-7pm Clinical and Medical Director Responsibilities: • Provide direct inpatient care as a hospitalist, including admissions, daily rounding, discharges, and care coordination • Collaborate closely with nursing, case management, specialists, and ancillary services to ensure safe, efficient patient care • Participate in call coverage and scheduling as defined by departmental needs • Support continuity of care through effective communication with primary care providers and community partners Medical Director Responsibilities • Provide clinical leadership for the hospitalist program, including oversight of clinical standards, workflows, and best practices • Support quality improvement initiatives, patient safety efforts, and performance metrics • Participate in provider recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and professional development • Serve as a liaison between hospitalists, medical staff leadership, administration, and interdisciplinary teams • Contribute to policy development, clinical protocols, and strategic planning initiatives • Foster a positive, collegial work environment aligned with MCH’s mission and values
Full-time Compensation: • Competitive Salary: Up to $305,000 plus quality bonus • 14 shifts every 28 days • W2 w/ full benefits • BlueCross BlueShield health, dental, vision, life insurance, LTD/STD, 4% 401k match, etc.. • PTO: 2 weeks • License/DEA reimbursement • CME stipend • Malpractice provided
