Brown University Health, affiliated partner of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, has an opening for a hospitalist to work in our award winning Respiratory Intensive Care Unit at either Rhode Island Hospital or The Miriam Hospital, both located in downtown Providence. This position requires a commitment to working both days & nights (an exclusively day schedule is not available) and is ideal for a candidate interested in learning procedures or considering a pulmonary-critical care fellowship in the future.

About the job:

·       Opportunity to work with pulmonary hypertension, DK, TI Bleeds and stable vent patients

·       EMR is EPIC

·       15 shifts per month/8-day shifts, 7 nights

·       Day shifts are non-teaching, teaching residents at night

·       Option to learn procedures

·       18 bed closed unit

·       Additional moonlighting opportunities available

·       Research opportunities available

·       J1 & H1B visa friendly

 

About the benefits:

·       Compensation is $252,350-$262,350 depending on experience

·       PSLF eligible

·       Malpractice with tail coverage

·       401K with a 6% match

·       15 shifts per month with 4 weeks of vacation which totals 165 shifts per calendar year.

  • Any shifts over 165 are paid out as moonlighting.
