Obstetrics Hospitalist (inpatient only) Career Opportunity - Louisville, KY Norton Women’s Care, a part of Norton Healthcare, is building a new OBGYN Hospitalist program providing 24/7 inpatient coverage at two hospital facilities in Louisville, KY. All OBGYN Hospitalists, including PRN physicians, have the ability to self-schedule 12 or 24 hour work shifts at either hospital location. - Full-time opportunities offer up to $160,000 in sign-on and recruitment incentive bonuses based on experience and compensation policies. Part-time opportunities are eligible to receive a prorated amount equal to the candidate’s FTE (Full-Time Equivalent)
- Full-time equivalent (FTE) 1.0 position is equal to working a minimum of 77 (24-hour) shifts or 1,848 hours annually; work shifts/hours and compensation prorated based on the FTE
- Annual salary for 1.0 FTE equal to $300,000 for 2 years of experience or less; $325,000 for 2+ years of experience
- A one-time relocation bonus is provided based on eligibility criteria, paid malpractice insurance, 403b retirement matching plan, paid business expenses, continuing medical education, and other standard Norton Healthcare employee benefits Norton Women's Care Highlights

Norton Children’s - As the need for expert pediatric care has grown in our region, so has the footprint of Norton Children’s. It comprises two hospitals, local and regional outpatient centers, and Norton Children’s Medical Group — a network of primary and specialty care practices with over 500 pediatric providers across more than 170 locations. Currently serving more than 215,000 patients on average per year, including more than 93,000 pediatric emergency care visits and nearly 13,000 pediatric surgeries, Norton Children’s provides comprehensive care for children of all ages across the region.
Located in downtown Louisville, the 300-bed Norton Children’s Hospital is the region’s only full-service, free-standing pediatric hospital, the only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center.
