Job Description

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist to provide ongoing coverage in Cooperstown, New York. This position offers a flexible schedule with both day and night shifts, supported by a strong clinical team and established patient volume.

Key Details

• Location: Cooperstown, New York
• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• Pay $220/HR
• Assignment Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM and 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Shifts: Approximately 7–8 shifts per month
• Patient Volume: ~1,000 deliveries annually
• Coverage:
  • 24/7 Midwifery support
  • Backup physician coverage available
• Credentialing: 60–120 days
• Physicians Only

Job Responsibilities - Provide inpatient OB/GYN care and hospitalist coverage - Manage labor and delivery patients - Perform required procedures including: - Cesarean sections - Dilation and curettage (D&C) - Laparoscopy for ectopic pregnancy - Collaborate with midwives and support staff to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications - Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Required) - Active New York Medical License (Required) - MD or DO degree - No telehealth experience required

Working Hours - 12-hour shifts (day and night rotations available) - Overtime applicable after 12 hours daily and 168 hours weekly
