High Acuity OB Hospitalist Practice within Beautiful Pacific Northwest Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced OB Hospitalist (OBGYN Hospitalist) to join a high-acuity, high-autonomy practice in Spokane, WA. This is a dynamic environment ideal for physicians who thrive in independent decision-making roles and enjoy managing complex obstetric care. High-Acuity Care
- Work within MuliCare Deaconess Hospital, which services 1800 deliveries annually, with a level III NICU for advanced care.
- Pediatrix OB Hospitalist team manages about 20% of total deliveries
- Fully inpatient role, with consistent exposure to complex, high-risk obstetric cases
- High-volume transport-in center serving Spokane and surrounding communities, with exposure to advanced pathology and antepartum admissions
True Autonomy in Developing a Diverse Skillset
- Function as an independent provider, with duties including OB ED management, labor management and emergencies in addition to assisting providers as needed.
- 24/7 OB Hospitalist coverage
- Management of unassigned and high-risk patients including Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) patients
- Ideal for experienced physicians, confident in independent clinical decision making
Established, Supportive Practice Structure
- 5 physician hospitalist team: Open to part-time or full-time seeking candidates
- Collaborative culture with strong subspecialty support
- Close partnership with Rockwood OBGYN and community health organizations with high-risk needs
