Practice & Cases
- Provide inpatient infectious disease consults and follow-up care
- Manage a daily census of approximately 25–35 patients
- Average 6–10 new consults per day
- Advanced practice provider support available Monday through Friday
Schedule
- Day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Coverage is primarily Friday through Sunday with select full-week assignments
- Overnight call from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on covered days
- Typical overnight call volume of 0–2 calls
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Infectious Disease or Board Eligible within 5 years
- Active Ohio medical license required
- Vaccination required
Logistics
- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
- Travel arrangements are coordinated for covered assignments
