Interventional Cardiologist – Flexible Block Schedule

Be part of a nationally recognized cardiovascular program featuring an ACC-accredited Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

 

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Full-time equivalent (182.5 days/year) with a structured block schedule (ex: 7 days on/7 days off).  1-3 year contract.

Where flexibility meets stability. Block scheduling gives you predictable time on and true time off.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Outpatient cardiology clinic
• Inpatient consults
• Heart failure management
• Lipid and hypertension management
• 24/7 call during block schedule

Diagnostic & Interpretive Duties:

• Diagnostic LHC/RHC - Coronary angiography
• Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)
• Instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR)
• IVUS
• Nuclear cardiology studies
• Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Supervise or interpret stress testing
• Cardiac MRI

Procedures:

• Cardioversion
• Cardiac Cath - Diagnostic/PCI
• IABP
• Temporary Pacemakers
• Pacemaker Implants (preferred but not required)
• Peripheral Intervention
• Thrombectomy (preferred but not required)
• Renal Denervation
• Collaborative Environment: Work closely with APPs, PCPs, Hospitalists

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease
• IMLC State – Licensure facilitation provided
• 50 PCI's in the last 12 months
• 150+ diagnostic right and/or left cardiac catheterizations in the last 24 months
