MedStar Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our established and well-staffed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in eastern Baltimore County. Conveniently located with easy access to Baltimore City and surrounding communities, MedStar Franklin Square offers an accessible location for providers throughout the greater Baltimore region. Our Level III NICU is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and staffed by highly trained, compassionate caregivers. Unit Highlights
- 23 total beds, including 19 private rooms and 4 rooms for multiples
- Established team of 5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and 4 Neonatologists
- Approximately 300 NICU admissions annually
- Level III NICU with state-of-the-art medical technology

Schedule & Position Details
This is primarily a salaried, full-time opportunity working 36 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week. The schedule includes a combination of day and night shifts, with holiday coverage shared equally among the group.
Part-time and PRN arrangements may also be considered based on experience, availability, and the needs of the NICU team.

Minimum Qualifications
- PA candidates: Current unrestricted Physician Assistant license to practice in Maryland; national certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA); must have completed a Neonatal Fellowship
- NNP candidates: Current unrestricted Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license to practice in Maryland; Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification through the National Certification Corporation
- Minimum of 1 year of Neonatal NP/PA experience preferred
- Qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply
This position has a hiring range of
USD $115,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.

Compensation Details
$115K–$190K
The hiring range is the range MedStar Health, in good faith, believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education and/or skill level, etc. Even within the range, the actual compensation will vary depending on the above factors as well as market/business considerations.
