  • Duke Health is excited to announce an opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Duke Neurological Sleep Clinic, serving both Durham and Raleigh/Cary, North Carolina, with a focus on insomnia care. This role collaborates with attending physicians to provide specialized care for patients with insomnia and related sleep disorders.

    Key Responsibilities Include

    • Provide direct patient care services to individuals with insomnia and other sleep disorders.
    • Deliver Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi) and pharmacologic management for insomnia.
    • Collect and document patient data accurately.
    • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
    • Order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations.

    Schedule

    Primary hours for this position are Monday through Friday, during the day shift, with flexibility to meet the needs of our patients.

    Education and Experience

    Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a master’s degree in nursing. Or, completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred. Certification or formal training in CBTi preferred.
