  • We are part of the Henry Ford Health Systems (HFHS -Detroit Area). The position will be hired under the Henry Ford Medical Group, assigned to the Jackson Hospital.

    Jackson Hosptial entered their 100th year May 2018. The partnership with Henry Ford Health System is very exciting for Henry Ford Health - Jackson facility and our community.

    Henry Ford Health System has allowed us the support to construct an innovation center (adding State of Art Simulation & Research Labs / May 2017), a Surgical Patient Tower that added 66 private rooms Fall 2018 and implemented EPIC house wide (INPT & OUTPT) in 2016.

    Opportunity:

    · Hospital-employed Neurosurgery opportunity with high volume and APP support

    · Level 2 Trauma Center

    · Call 1:4 / 90% outpatient – 10% inpatient

    · Case load Adult 90% / Peds 10% / 20-25 patients a day in clinic (Avg 5 new patients)

    · OR block time, with state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated Neurosurgery OR team (2 days OR/3 days clinic)

    · Dedicated neuro-intensive care unit, stroke unit, and neurosurgical services on-site

    · Procedures: Spine (C,T,L) Surgeries (Fusion/Decompression) Kyphoplasty, SCS Implant, Craniectomy/Plasty, Shunt Placement
