No ophthalmology experience? That's okay. We provide paid training for motivated Nurse Practitioners looking to transition into this specialty.
What You'll Do
- Perform pre-operative history & physical examinations
- Conduct post-operative follow-up visits
- Evaluate and educate patients
- Collaborate closely with experienced ophthalmologists
- Perform specialized ophthalmic treatments (training provided)
- Document care using EMR
Qualifications
- Active New York NP License
- National NP Certification
- NP clinical or hospital experience
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills
- EMR experience
- Reliable transportation for travel between nearby office locations
