Norton Children's Hospital

Norton Children's located in Louisville, Kentucky, is currently recruiting pediatric anesthesiologists to join its growing anesthesiology program which is now supported under a new employment model.

The group provides pediatric anesthesiology services at Norton Children’s Hospital, a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and member of the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program. Norton Children’s is ranked No.1 in Kentucky on the U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals list for 2024-2025 and is ranked nationally in seven pediatric specialties. In the new model, physicians can choose between an all-clinical track or a combined clinical and academic track with the UofL School of Medicine. The combined clinical and academic track provides the opportunity to explore quality improvement, clinical research, translational research, medical education child advocacy or community engagement. Norton Children’s Research Institute, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, offers broad support for every stage of research, including study design and statistical analysis.

In addition to supporting Norton Children’s Hospital, the group provides daytime coverage for two pediatric outpatient surgery centers at Norton Children’s Medical Center and Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

"Our group's success is due in large part to the incredible social support we offer each other and the mentorship we provide newly graduated physicians. We fully recognize the bright future of our group depends on the success of each individual physician."
