No Call, No Weekends - Pediatric Anesthesiologist needed in Dayton

Exciting opportunity for a locum Pediatric Anesthesiologists seeking a long-term locums assignment with a highly regarded Level I pediatric trauma center. The facility is seeking 3 full-time physicians beginning in November 2026, with potential coverage extending through October 2027.

• Start: November 2026
• Duration: Initial assignments through February/April 2027 with potential to extend through October 2027
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Call: None
• Setting: Hospital-based operating rooms
• Volume: Approximately 50–60 surgical cases per day across the department
• Practice Model: Combination of solo practice and CRNA supervision within a care team model
• Patient Population: Neonatal through adult
• Facility: ACS Level I Trauma Center
• Operating Rooms: 14

Full-spectrum pediatric anesthesia including neonatal surgery, general pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, dental, GI, radiology, thoracic cases, and other pediatric subspecialties.

No cardiac surgery, cath lab, or transplant surgery.

• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship required
• Active Ohio medical license required (not accepting IMLC)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Experience with neonatal, pediatric, and adult general surgical cases
• Experience with complex orthopedic and neurosurgical cases
• Ventilation management experience
• Clean background and malpractice history
• Must complete fingerprinting immediately following acceptance

Approved travel expenses are reimbursed and may include mileage, rental car, hotel, and airfare.
