Interviewing Now | Lehigh Valley Health Network Trauma Surgeon

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an enthusiastic board certified/board eligible trauma surgeon with added qualifications in surgical critical care who has exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills to join our Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team.

Practice Overview:

• High functioning Level III trauma center that is now pursuing Level II accreditation.
• Approximately 1700+ trauma patient contacts last year with over 600 trauma admissions.
• A robust emergency general experience.
• Ample opportunity to develop an elective general surgery practice.
• State of the art wound healing center which includes two new hyperbaric chambers.

Time will be split among:

• Outpatient office setting for evaluation of new elective general surgery patients and follow-up for established patients.
• Respond to trauma activations and emergency general surgery patients when on-call.
• Call approximately 1:5

Job Qualifications:

• Must be Board Eligible/Certified
• Emergency General Surgery call and Trauma Surgery call
• A valid PA Medical License or ability to obtain one
• Current ATLS certification (instructor status preferred)
