Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Chief of Wound Care.This role involves providing strategic, clinical, and administrative oversight for our comprehensive, multidisciplinary Wound Care Center, ensuring state-of-the-art patient care and driving program growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Direction: Lead the center by developing and implementing advanced, evidence-based treatment protocols to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Strategic Growth: Drive the development of the program, including service expansion and the integration of new technologies like hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT).
  • Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and professional development for a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and scholarly environment.
  • Quality & Compliance: Lead quality improvement initiatives, monitor clinical outcomes, and ensure full compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Requirements:

  • MD/DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Fellowship Trained
  • Ability to obtain a New Jersey Medical License, DEA, and CDS
  • Must possess the specialized training and certification required to medically direct and supervise hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT).

HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The minimum base salary for this position is $237,959. The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good-faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package.

  • Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
  • Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
  • Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
