The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University School of Medicine is a top ranking clinical and research department offering a four-year residency training program designed to offer a broad exposure to all aspects of the health care of women. The goal of the program is to support and guide resident physicians in acquiring the knowledge and clinical acumen required to provide outstanding clinical care in gynecologic and obstetrical practice in a collegial environment. The program offers an intense exposure to both routine and complex General Obstetrics and Gynecology and the subspecialties of Gynecologic Oncology, Urogynecology & Pelvic Reconstruction, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, and Family Planning.
