The Wake Forest Pediatrics Residency provides comprehensive, well-rounded training in pediatrics, preparing our graduates to pursue careers in a subspecialty fellowship, private practice, or a pathway all their own! We train 14 categorical residents per class, offering truly personalized training and mentorship from a dedicated, multidisciplinary faculty encompassing all the pediatric subspecialties. Brenner Children’s Hospital is a tertiary-care center with strong community roots, and residents care for a diverse and underserved patient population. Our curriculum includes training and mentored scholarship in advocacy, quality improvement, medical education, and/or clinical research. Winston-Salem is ranked one of the top 50 American cities and offers an abundance of outdoor activities, cultural opportunities, and culinary options with a low cost of living and small-town feel.
