The UT Southwestern Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program delivers a broad educational and clinical experience essential to establish the foundation for practice-based and lifelong learning for both allopathic and osteopathic resident physicians. The UTSW PM&R residency is a hands-on training program with a diverse patient population and clinical exposures/experiences in all of the standard PM&R subspecialties with additional unique learning opportunities in niche subspecialties that are not available at many institutions (such as burns, cancer, intrathecal pumps, neuromuscular medicine, and pelvic floor). In addition to the clinical teaching, our curriculum offers traditional lectures, interactive workshops, panel discussions, and introductory/advanced lecture series. In summary, the UTSW PM&R residency program provides physiatrists the clinical experience and education to ensure preparedness and success.
