The Dermatology residency program at UT Southwestern offers top quality training in all aspects of dermatology. Our program provides outstanding preparation for future dermatologists through well-rounded experiences in patient care, didactics, and scholarly activities. Our program aims to: · Provide an innovative and comprehensive curriculum in clinical dermatology and basic science to prepare graduates to provide the highest levels of patient care · Teach residents to evaluate, integrate, and contribute to evidence-based-medicine through scientific inquiry · Produce physicians who provide excellent, compassionate care to their patients and their communities and become leaders in professional organizations and academic institutions Dermatology residents at UT Southwestern rotate through a diverse range of clinical settings including UTSW faculty practices and University Hospitals, Parkland Hospital, the North Texas VA, and Children's Medical Center. We have a three year track for clinical dermatologists and a 2+2 research track for physician scientists.
