Plastic Surgery (Integrated) Residency Program · Columbia, MO
The University of Missouri Plastic Surgery residency represents one of the inaugural Integrated Residency programs, formed officially in 1995, and has been at the forefront of the evolution of plastic surgery residency curriculum ever since. Our program continues to be fully integrated, matching residents immediately out of medical school, with a total complement of 10 residents across the 6 years of training. Residents spend 6 months on the plastic surgery service in each of their first two years, followed by 9 months in the PGY-3 year. The remainder of time is dedicated to plastic surgery training. Our emphasis is one of early gratification for residents with early exposure to technical plastic surgery operative training. We offer broad exposure to all aspects of plastic surgery. We are a diverse and close-knit, "family-style" group, located in a friendly, affordable college-town environment with lots to offer.
