Family Medicine Residency Program · Missoula, MT
We are a 3-year full-spectrum Family Medicine residency based in Missoula and Kalispell, MT. Missoula is the core program and Kalispell is a 1:2 track with residents spending the first year in Missoula. Our mission is to train residents to provide high quality care in rural and underserved settings in Montana. About ¾ of program graduates practice in Montana and around 85% practice in rural or underserved settings. Our family medicine centers are located in community health centers in Missoula and Kalispell. Inpatient rotations take place at Providence St. Patrick Hospital and Community Medical Center in Missoula and Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell. We offer rural, osteopathic, reproductive health and obstetrics tracks. Our longitudinal curriculum includes POCUS, wilderness medicine and refugee health. Our program has a network of 15+ rural training sites across western Montana where residents complete required and elective rural rotations.
