Radiation Oncology Residency Program · Chicago, IL
Our ACGME-accredited residency program combines both didactic and clinical instruction in oncology patient care, medical physics and radiation biology. It is our goal to train our residents to become excellent radiation oncologists. Our residents gain exposure to a vast array of cancers and a broad range of treatment equipment/options. Residents receive protected research time and support to present papers, abstracts, and posters at regional, national, and international meetings. We recruit individuals who are enthusiastic, hard-working, and possess a sound foundation of basic science and clinical knowledge. We consider our residents to be a great asset, and we take tremendous pride in their training. Prior graduates of our program have performed successfully on both written and oral examinations of the American Board of Radiology (100% board passage rate over the past 10 years!) and have gone on to obtain desirable academic positions and private practice opportunities throughout the country.
