Mayo Clinic Arizona is pleased to offer a 5 year categorical program with a built-in transitional year that is focused on preparing the resident for a career in radiation oncology. Transitional year rotations include palliative medicine, medical oncology, surgery, radiology, gynecologic oncology and one month of research. After the transitional year, the program offers a robust learning experience from a large core faculty that covers all aspects of radiation oncology, including proton beam therapy. Yearly courses in physics, radiobiology and medical dosimetry are offered. Protected research time is available. Please contact us for any questions.
