At the University of Florida Neurology Residency Program, we pride ourselves on collaborating with our residents to provide a highly educational, flexible, and fun training program. We are a four-year categorical program with 8 positions per year. PGY1 interns are immersed in neurology early through clinical rotations, mentoring, and scholarly activities. There are individualized interest tracks, including a medical education track and an academic research track with R25 protected research time in residency and fellowship. The University of Florida is one of the premier institutions for neurology in the southeast. Our new freestanding, state-of-the-art UF Health Neuromedicine tower includes 48 dedicated neurointensive care beds and state-of-the-art neuromedicine ancillary testing. The Fixel Institute for Neurological Disorders is world-renowned for its groundbreaking interdisciplinary model of care. The Neurology department has undergone significant growth, with multiple new faculty members, subspecialty divisions, and fellowship opportunities. It's a great time to be a Florida Gator!
