Our program, led by world-class faulty and located in one of the most beautiful, vibrant, and diverse cities in the US, seeks to train urologists who are motivated to make a mark on the future of urologic service, research, education, and advocacy. Our training sites include a university hospital, a county hospital, a VA hospital, an NCI-designated cancer center, two pediatric hospitals, and numerous ambulatory sites within easy walking or driving distances. Graduates of our program will find themselves able to practice in any type of setting. We have all subspecialties covered by multiple faculty, so trainees learn diverse approaches and techniques. There is an option for a 6-year track which includes a year of dedicated research during PGY-4. The Desai-Sethi Urology Insitute provides a wealth of opportunities for anyone interested in research. We are extremely supportive of our residents and pride ourselves on collegial interactions among faculty and trainees.
