The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Urology Residency Program accepts five residents each year through the AUA Residency Match. As part of the program, residents complete a year of General Surgery during their internship, followed by four years of Urology training. We aim for our residents to discover their potential through our dynamic and forward-thinking residency where innovation meets hands-on excellence. Ranked #6 nationally in Urology by US News, our department provides residents with a robust surgical experience, cutting-edge research opportunities, and one-on-one mentorship from nationally recognized faculty. With early operative exposure, high case volume, and access to the latest minimally invasive and robotic techniques, residents graduate fully equipped to lead in both academic and clinical urology.
