The University of Oklahoma Department of Urology is committed to providing excellence in urologic health care and the training of our residents. Our residents receive training in the full complement of urological specialties and subspecialties. They receive a diverse experience including adult, pediatric, geriatric and the treatment of Veterans. We have patients in the private setting as well as the under and non-insured population. We have patients from all ethnicities. Residents receive training which prepares them for an academic career or a private practice. We have increased our hiring of fellowship-trained faculty, two in 2014 and two in 2015. We are currently recruiting additional faculty for stones/endourology and male reconstruction. We are proud of the fact that when our residents graduate they continue to stay in communication with our faculty and maintain close relationships.
