Mayo Clinic was one of the first two institutions in the United States to offer what is now called residency training after medical school over 100 years remains the largest graduate medical education program in the country. Our internal medicine residency on the Florida campus is in Jacksonville, the fastest growing city for Millennials and fastest growing in the US overall with people, located 4 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. We provide primary care to a diverse local population, while also being known as a destination medical center for complex diseases and organ transplantation.
