LCH treats more children per day than any hospital in North Carolina, and, with 234 beds, is the largest children's hospital between Atlanta and Washington, D.C. In 2019, LCH was recognized as a Best Children's Hospital in 7 pediatric specialties by U.S. News & World Report. Our QI Curriculum is nationally recognized; other curricular highlights include our Global Health and Advanced Advocacy Tracks. Our 5-year board pass rate is 97%, and we routinely match residents into competitive fellowships of their choosing.
