Atrium Health is one of the nation’s leading healthcare organizations. Our 36 residents train at Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH) on the campus of Atrium’s Carolinas Medical Center. LCH treats more children per day than any hospital in North Carolina, and, with 234 beds, is the largest children's hospital between Atlanta and Washington, D.C. In 2019, LCH was recognized as a Best Children's Hospital in 7 pediatric specialties by U.S. News & World Report. Our QI Curriculum is nationally recognized; other curricular highlights include our Global Health and Advanced Advocacy Tracks. Our 5-year board pass rate is 97%, and we routinely match residents into competitive fellowships of their choosing. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is visible and intentional; opportunities include a Diversity Certificate Program and a Diversity Leader Speaker Series.
