We are an ACGME-accredited community-based program in Southwest Riverside County in California; our mission is to develop well-trained, competent, and caring surgeons within a diverse working environment. Our residents enjoy a high volume of cases during their regular inpatient rotations at Inland Valley Hospital, Temecula Valley Hospital, and Rancho Springs Hospital, plus away rotations at UC San Diego, Rady Children’s Hospital, and City of Hope. The diversity of patients and breadth of pathology provides our residents with an exceptional training experience, and our highly diverse faculty provide an enriched and nurturing environment to develop and grow as a physician. Our clinical curriculum is structured on the principle of graduated, progressive training; resident needs are matched with clinical duties that appropriately challenge them, while providing an appropriate level of supervision commensurate to their clinical care skill progress.
