The Radiology Residency at Ochsner is a categorical 5-year program with 6 residents per year. Internship and residency are performed at our main campus in New Orleans. Residents experience a high volume of case material over a broad range of primary and tertiary care pathology. Residents receive extensive procedural experience, as we do not have IR fellows. Over 90% of our graduates have entered competitive fellowships across the country. Residents have at least one didactic lecture daily with multiple multispecialty conferences each week. We have collegial relationships with other departments, especially neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, and the top ranked transplant surgery department in the nation. Ochsner is one of the largest multispecialty clinics in the U.S. and a leading tertiary care center in the South. We look forward to a strong future with continued high level of residency education.
