Interventional Radiology (Integrated) Residency Program · Columbus, OH
The Ohio State Department of Radiology offers two integrated IR/DR positions a year. Trainees will become proficient in a variety of interventional radiology procedures, rotate with a vascular surgery service, and gain experience in pediatric interventional radiology. Our practice performs a high volume of image-guided therapies in interventional oncology, diagnostic and therapeutic angiography, transplant complications, portal hypertension, complex venous interventions and much more. Our IR team consists of trainees, fellowship trained IR physicians, IR Advanced Practice Providers, and trained RN’s all performing procedures daily. Program highlights: 1. 100% Pass Rate on the Core Exam 2. 100% Pass Rate on the IR/DR Certification Exam 3. No-pull policy 4. 30 scholarly activity days, used when needed 5. Collegiality among residents, faculty members, and staff. 6. Location on the main campus of one of the world’s largest universities presents unmatched opportunities for multi-disciplinary collaborations. 7. IDEA-Rad (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity Advocates in Radiology), created in the Department to address opportunities for under-represented minorities in Radiology.
