For over 50 years the Penn Medicine Lancaster General Family Medicine Residency has trained full spectrum family physicians who practice in a variety of settings throughout the country. Our 13-13-13 residency is the only one sponsored by our institution. Lancaster County provides a unique setting in which all of our residents practice in both urban and rural settings. Lancaster City, dubbed by the BBC as the "refugee capital of the US", is home to a diverse patient population. Our curriculum includes strong inpatient medicine, obstetrics and pediatric experience. For residents will special interests, we offer 17 Areas of Concentration.
