Welcome to the NYU Winthrop Hospital Department of Radiology. We are part of the NYU Langone Health System, one of the largest academic radiology departments in the country. Our hospital has its own residency program, but we share some resources with the NYU Langone residency program. The hospital is an academic community hospital and certified as a Level 1 trauma center and a New York-designated stroke center. The department performs over 250,000 exams annually in all subspecialties and modalities. Our dedicated teaching faculty consists of over 30 attending radiologists trained in all imaging subspecialties. We are committed to providing the highest level of patient care by collaborating with our referring clinicians to provide safe and high-quality imaging examinations and image-guided procedures. In addition to patient care, we are committed to training the next generation of radiologists and performing research to advance medical knowledge.
