The overall mission of the Child Neurology Residency Program at the University of Michigan is to train a diverse cohort of residents to be leaders in inclusive care, research, education, and advocacy. We have an integrated five-year training program in Pediatrics and Child Neurology. We offer four categorical positions each year. The program includes two years of Pediatrics and subsequently three years of Neurology, which is a blend of one year of Adult Neurology and two years of Child Neurology. We have energetic and supportive faculty and close relationships with the Pediatrics and Adult Neurology training programs. Other program highlights include excellent general neurology and subspecialty training, early mentorship, scholarship opportunities, and a commitment to resident well-being and ongoing improvement.
