UCLA Neurosurgery is a premier residency training program for talented individuals with a passion for clinical and surgical excellence, innovation through research, and the betterment of our patients and communities. For over 3 decades, UCLA has been recognized as a top neurosurgery program in the nation. We aim to educate and foster the next generation of neurosurgical leaders. Our trainees operate at 5 clinical sites, where they are exposed to various health systems, diverse patient populations, and the full breath of neurosurgical pathologies. Furthermore, we provide dedicated time and mentorship for research and for developing the tools to become a successful surgeon-scientist. With a family culture, we also focus on resident wellness, constructive feedback, and constantly adapting to the changing needs of our trainees.
