The neurology residency program at UT Health San Antonio is an expanding and enthusiastic program that provides residents with well-rounded training experiences in the University and VA Hospitals and clinics. Our mission is to prepare residents to succeed and to become leaders in either academics or private practice. We provide our residents with robust experiences with a diverse patient population while maintaining a supportive environment, with faculty and peer mentoring, protected education time, and a 5+1 schedule that helps the residents focus their training. In addition, we have introduced a Clinician Educator Track to train residents interested in a career in education. San Antonio, located near the Texas Hill Country, is the eighth largest city in the United States, yet maintains an affordable cost of living.
