At UMN, we offer training in a level one trauma center, Veteran’s hospital, Children’s Hospital and University quaternary care center. Our categorical TY program is at a public safety-net hospital where your efforts are greatly appreciated. With graduated independence, you will take in-house overnight radiology call (with remote faculty back up), read a tremendous variety of cases and graduate well prepared for any fellowship or practice. Our fellowship placements are excellent and board outcomes far exceed national averages. Many of our residents chose to stay at UMN for fellowship training and many of our fellows are recruited to stay on as faculty. We are a collegial and caring program with a 6-week parental leave policy, a no-pull policy for rotations, and supportive program leadership.
