Pediatrics Residency Program · Palo Alto, CA
Stanford Pediatrics is an incredibly special place for residency! You will be infinitely well-prepared to care for any and all patients -- the most complex patients as well as bread and butter pediatrics. Our Scholarly Concentrations create a structured way of supporting your scholarly ideas and are the most robust in the country. And we are known for our Coaching Initiative -- all residents have a faculty coach to help them develop during the three years (coming on rounds, clinic visits, handoffs, care conferences and teaching sessions to give our residents feedback and help them improve their clinical skills). But most of all, you should come here for our people! Our patients are incredible (diverse, interesting), our faculty are engaged, and our residents are extraordinary (amazing clinicians, incredible teachers, remarkable leaders, and some of the most real, funny, caring people you'll ever meet).
