The Mclaren Healthcare Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program is categorical that integrates 1 year of clinical training and 4 years of diagnostic radiology. It fulfills the requirements to prepare residents for specialty certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Board of Osteopathic Radiology (AOBR) and complies with various guidelines recommended by the ACGME. The principal goal of the diagnostic radiology residency program is to training competent, caring radiologist who possess the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to become board-certified radiologists, pursue a fellowship, enter private practice or begin an academic career, practice according to standards set by professional societies, and practice lifelong learning.
