Jefferson Health Medical Education/Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital
Radiology (Diagnostic) Residency Program · Philadelphia, PA
Einstein Healthcare Network is the largest independent academic medical center in the Delaware Valley. We are a level 1 trauma and thrombectomy stroke care center and a center of excellence for visceral organ transplantation, providing quality tertiary and primary care to a socioeconomically diverse population. Our fully accredited diagnostic radiology residency combines the clinical scope and educational curriculum of a university hospital with a resident centric experience more typical of smaller programs. The diverse clinical experience is supplemented by sub-specialized didactic instruction, with opportunities for research in clinical radiology, quality assurance and artificial intelligence. Highlights of our program include two daily conferences, a protected lunch break, six months of electives and state of the art equipment and information systems. With no fellows, our residency is the educational focus of our department. The Einstein tradition is to balance an independent clinical apprenticeship with individualized mentoring, educational and research opportunities.
