The Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Cleveland Clinic Akron General is designed to provide four years of training in all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology so that upon completion, the graduating resident is a superbly well-trained OBGYN capable of practicing as a specialist in General Obstetrics and Gynecology or a highly competitive candidate to continue on into fellowship training in any of the subspecialty areas. We recruit bright, enthusiastic senior students who have demonstrated a history of academic achievement, work ethic, volunteerism and strong moral character. Our four-year program is approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Our 30+ obstetrician/gynecologists, constituting the active teaching staff with all subspecialties represented are dedicated to both the community and the residents they help train! Centering Pregnancy will be a new feature for our program this year!
