The Radiation Oncology Residency Program at Loyola University Medical Center offers a fully accredited four-year residency program. Our department creates a collaborative environment that emphasizes multi-disciplinary cancer care, advanced radiotherapeutic technologies and procedures, and didactic and clinical education. Our goal is to educate and train physicians to be skilled in the practice of radiation and clinical oncology so they can extend the excellence of Loyola to their respective patients and their community after graduation. While in training, we strive to provide robust and impactful research opportunities with an emphasis on prospective and practice-changing research. We encourage our residents to engage in service opportunities and organized medicine so they can make meaningful contributions to the field of radiation oncology and develop into the future leaders in our field.
