We are a 4-year ACGME-accredited postgraduate residency training program based at the University of California, Davis Medical Center located in Sacramento, Calif. Our focus is helping the underserved communities of Northern California. We have a clinical presence to the Oregon and Nevada borders, south to the city of Modesto including Mammoth Lakes, and west to the city of Fairfield. This represents a 65,000-square-mile area that includes 33 counties and 6 million residents across Northern and Central California. We care for one of the largest geographical areas in the state of California, including a majority of counties that are considered rural or frontier. We provide our residents with an excellent education and training, with the opportunity to pursue post-training opportunities in fellowships, academic centers, the Kaiser system and private practice. Our learning environment fosters residents to develop their medical and clinical skills.
