Indiana University Department of Radiology provides comprehensive imaging services to eight large state-of-the-art urban and suburban hospitals in beautiful Indianapolis, the amateur sports capital of the world and home of the NCAA. Well over one million exams are performed a year at Indiana University Medical Center, with an incredible diversity of pathology including a dedicated tertiary care pediatric referral hospital, three Level 1 trauma centers including a pediatric trauma center, an internationally renowned cancer center, a tertiary burn center, and one of the largest private hospitals in the nation. Internationally renowned radiology researchers and educators train tomorrow's leaders in a high volume, fast-paced environment designed for seamless transition of trainees to private practice efficiency. Indiana University provides added value to education with novel resident development programs such as The Women in Radiology Group, The Academic and Research Track, The Leadership and Business Curriculum, and the Hands-on Ultrasound Course.
